Almost half of Kyiv region will have no electricity in coming days

Functions on removing the implications of Russian missile attacks are underway in Kyiv region. NEC Ukrenergo power grid operator has introduced more emergency shutdowns. Therefore, schedules of hourly power outages are currently not in impact in the region.

Oleksiy Kuleba, head of the Kyiv Regional Military services Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, ability engineers are doing work intensively so that Kyiv area can return to planned power outages as soon as probable.

Nonetheless, Kuleba explained that about half of the region would have no electric power in the coming days.

As noted, Russian missiles strike vitality services in Kyiv, Vinnytsia and Odesa areas on December 5. Regardless of this, the country’s power grid is operating. In some areas, emergency shutdowns are in place in order to stability the method and avoid accidents.
